2008 Festival Information

The 15th Annual Education Festival was held on Sunday, April 6, and featured classes by Meg Peters Glasgow, CPF, owner of Finer Frames, Meridian Idaho. She was sponsored by Crescent Cardboard Co, one of our loyal Festival sponsors. Other classes include Water Gilding, basic and advanced installations, using fabric to hide mounts for dimensional items, merchandising, and restorations. The Framing Competition was won this year by Karon's Frame Center, of Port Angeles, WA. Her shop's entry took both First Place and the Popular Choice ribbons and cash prizes. Second Place was from the frame makers/Artisan Framing, in Tacoma, and Third was The Mitered Corner, in Seattle WA. Photos of all entries as well as many other pics from the day's activities will soon be available in our Gallery.
